How do I place an order? You can place your order directly on our website. Select your desired pie size, complete your checkout, and you’ll receive an email confirmation with pickup or delivery details.

When should I place my order? Due to the handcrafted nature of our pies, we recommend placing your order at least 4 days in advance. However, we encourage ordering earlier as we have limited availability each week.

Can I order pies for an event or in bulk? Yes! For larger events or bulk orders, please contact us directly via email to discuss availability, special requests, and pricing.

How will I know my order is confirmed? After placing your order, you'll receive an email confirmation detailing your order, pickup or delivery arrangements, and contact information should you need to make changes.

Do you offer delivery? Yes! We offer local delivery throughout New York City using Uber courier cars to ensure your pie arrives safely and intact. Please note, we do not utilize bike couriers, as they may compromise the stability of your order during transport. Delivery costs vary based on your location and are shouldered by the customer

Upon confirming your order, we will email you the pickup address and contact information. Simply enter these details into the Uber courier app under the pickup section when arranging your delivery. Delivery fees will be calculated and displayed by Uber at the time you schedule your courier pickup.

Can I pick up my pie? Absolutely! Pickup is available on designated days (Wed/Sun) and times (10AM-8PM), as confirmed in your order email.

How should I store my pie? Please keep your pie refrigerated immediately upon receipt to maintain freshness and quality.

How long will my pie stay fresh? For the best experience, we recommend enjoying your pie within 48 hours. The pie remains safe to consume for up to 5 days when stored properly in the refrigerator.

Can I freeze my pie? We do not recommend freezing your caviar pie, as freezing may significantly alter its delicate texture and flavor.

What ingredients are in a Pica Pica pie? Our pies contain premium ingredients including cream cheese, minced red onion, minced egg, and black caviar.

Why do I see green? The greenish coloration you might observe when eggs come into contact with red onions is caused by a harmless chemical reaction. Red onions contain natural pigments called anthocyanins, and eggs naturally contain sulfur compounds. When these two ingredients combine, the sulfur in the eggs reacts with the anthocyanins (pigments) in red onions, resulting in a greenish hue.

Is it Safe to Eat? Yes! This green color is entirely safe and purely aesthetic. It does not affect the taste, freshness, nutritional value, or quality of the food.

Do the pies contain allergens? Yes, our pies contain dairy, eggs, and fish. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please carefully review our ingredient list or contact us directly.

Can I request substitutions or customizations? If you have your own specialty caviar you would like us to use, please email us at order@eatpicapica.com to coordinate. We require at least 100g for a small, 200g for a medium, and 300g for a large pie. However, that is the only change we can make to the caviar pie to ensure consistency and quality of our signature recipe. 

What forms of payment do you accept? We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Shopify checkout (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Paypal).

Can I cancel or change my order? You may change or cancel your order up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup/delivery. Please reach out via email promptly to request any modifications.

What is your return or refund policy? Due to the perishable nature of our pies, all sales are final. However, if you experience any issues with your order, please contact us at info@eatpicapica immediately, and we’ll work to resolve the situation promptly.
